There are various permutations and combinations of cardiovascular drugs that doctors prescribe according to an individual’s need and necessity. Thus if one wants to correct a heartbeat or slow down a heart that is beating too fast, the best drug to use would be antiarrhythmic drugs. However, cardiovascular drugs have their dose of side effects. The most dangerous side effect that this drug can have is lung inflammation. This can also lead to liver inflammation, muscle degeneration, weakness, and loss of balance. Your skin may also be more susceptible to sunburn and may also take a blue-grey discolouration.

Blood thinner is another common name for anticoagulants, which is a cardiovascular drug. These inhibit the ability of the blood to clot, preventing clots from forming in blood vessels and from getting bigger.

Thus, cardiovascular drugs are of several different kinds and come in all shapes and sizes. Thanks to the addition of newer drugs in the pharmaceutical industry today, complex cardiovascular diseases have a remedy.
